Pedestrian Crash on Highway 395 Kills Victorville Resident

HESPERIA, CA (December 14, 2021) 35-year-old Ramon Rudy Casioce Jr., lost his life Sunday in a pedestrian crash on Highway 395.

The incident took place on the highway near Three Flags Court around 5:40 a.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a red Dodge Ram pickup-truck struck the pedestrian. Authorities have not yet released the driver’s identity.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and found Casioce in the middle of the road. Despite life-saving attempts, Casioce of Victorville, died as a result of his injuries.

In addition, officers closed Highway 395 between Joshua Street and Poplar Street for multiple hours as the investigation team examined the site.
