High-Speed Car Crash near Woodland Avenue left 21-Year-Old Man Dead
MODESTO, CA (July 6, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a high-speed car crash on State Route 99 took the life of Ramiro Lopez Trevin. According to the police, the crash happened around 5:56 a.m. along the northbound SR-99, north of Woodland Avenue. Investigators claimed that a 2002 Volvo was racing with another vehicle before losing control. Afterward, the Volvo crossed all the lanes of the freeway and into the right shoulder before colliding head-on with a tree. Tragically, the first responders declared the Volvo driver dead at the scene. He was later identified as 21-year-old Ramiro Lopez Trevin of Modesto. No further details regarding the fatal State Route 99 crash have been released to the public.
