We've been slogging through a lot of Manimal related information this week, from video debuts to show reviews, but one little gem that made its way through the heap deserves unqualified huzzahs: The new Rainbow Arabia remix of the Field's “Sequence,” which Stereogum debuted the other day.

We downloaded the thumpy Italo-disco inspired gem pretty soon after it arrived, and have to say that it's made the daily commute a little more tolerable.

Rainbow Arabia, if you don't know, is Danny and Tiffany Preston, and create a madly infectious tribal/folk/techno hybrid that draws on said triumvirate without seeming forced or contrived. Their EP of earlier in the year, Kibukikimono, is one of our faves, and deserves your attention.

But for the remix of Berlin's The Field (which is one Alex Wilner), Rainbow Arabia do this meshy/woven take on the final song from this year's epic Yesterday and Today, turn it into a Giorgio Moroder-fueled breakdown of rhythm and yowl.
