7-Year-Old Boy Dies after Fatal Crash on Boulder Highway

LAS VEGAS, NV (May 27, 2021) – 7-year-old Quintus Faison lost his life Friday night after a fatal bicycle crash on Boulder Highway.

The deadly crash happened around 6:40 p.m., on May 21st. Emergency crews arrived at an apartment complex near Boulder Highway and Desert Inn.

According to police, the boy’s bike collided with the right side of the truck as the vehicle was making a turn.

First responders arrived and rushed the boy to a nearby hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, he was later pronounced dead from a blunt head injury sustained in the accident.

Officers said the truck driver remained on the scene, and neither impairment nor speed appear to have played a role in the crash.

The surrounding area on Boulder Highway was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
