After a nine-day closure so it could revamp its menu (courtesy of chef Jason Neroni) and its interior (courtesy of designer Brendan Ravenhill), Osteria La Buca reopens tonight to the general public. (They held a friends-and-family preview last night.) Beginning tomorrow, La Buca will also reopen for lunch.

The interior is larger and sleeker with a rustic sort of minimalism. The menu has also been slimmed down. The smoky bacon pappardelle is still among the 10 pasta dishes though it's paired with mozarella instead of scamorza. It sits alongside choices like cauliflower and taleggio ravioli and spring pea agnolotti.

The new cocktail menu with five drinks ($12 each) offers classics like the Neroni as well as the specialty drinks like the Penny Arcade, made with Benedectine, Amaro Nonino, honey and lemon.
