29-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Olive Avenue

SONOMA VALLEY, CA (September 22, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Querubin Hernandez-Gutierrez was killed in a pedestrian crash on Arnold Drive.

The accident occurred around 1:22 a.m., near Olive Avenue on September 14th.

According to reports, Hernandez-Gutierrez was standing next to a tractor-trailer when the driver of a 2015 Ford Explorer veered onto the shoulder and struck the tractor-trailer. The impact pushed the tractor into the man, causing life-threatening injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, first responders pronounced 29-year-old Hernandez-Gutierrez, of Woodland dead on scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the tractor driver to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.

The Ford driver who sustained injuries, on the other hand, declined any treatment.

Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
