Drag Race Incident Left Quarann Maurice Ray Lottie Dead

OTAY MESA, CA (November 8, 2021) – A vehicle crash during a drag race claimed the life of Quarann Maurice Ray Lottie, a bystander Sunday morning.

According to the authorities, two motorists were drag racing around 6 a.m. at the 8800 block of Kerns Street when a driver lost control of his vehicle.

Afterwards, the car went up the sidewalk and hit a bystander watching the racing, according to Officer Sarah Foster.

Unfortunately, the first responders declared the man dead at the scene.

At this time, Otay Mesa Officials reported no arrests from the incident. The San Diego Police department is working to identify the reason behind the crash.
