Caltrans Worker Dies in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Lagoon Valley Road; 1 Arrested
VACAVILLE, CA (June 6, 2022) – 51-year-old Quandra McGadney lost her life Friday after a pedestrian hit-and-run on Lagoon Valley Road.
The crash happened 10:30 a.m. on June 3rd along westbound I-80 near Lagoon Valley Road.
According to reports, a vehicle struck the Caltrans worker under unknown circumstances. CHP officers arrived and found the worker dead at the scene.
Authorities identified 51-year-old McGadney as the fatal hit-and-run victim. On the other hand, the driver of a white Mazda 3 speed away after the collision.
Eventually, police officials located and arrested the suspect driver and charged him with hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter charges.
The suspect was later identified as 31-year-old Taje Jakkar Holliman from San Francisco.
