Pun contests are popular these days, including the Punderdome 3000 in Brooklyn and the annual World Pun Championships in Austin. Pundamonium has been held in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago and other cities, and now it finally comes to L.A. Up to ten audience members can sign up to compete. The contestants are each given a prompt, and then speak for two minutes, saying as many puns as they can based on the prompt. It gets harder in subsequent rounds, until a winner is declared. The event is hosted by comedian Joseph Scrimshaw. Doors at 7:30 p.m., show at 8 p.m.
