Between ancient Mayan ruins and the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, lies one of the most exclusive private staffed villas in the world and celebrities are flocking to it.

The designer of this seaside wonder, John Giovanni Cacciutti wanted to bring a truly magical experience to a luxury resort that has a dash of theme park thrills. With several heated pools and swim-up bars, giant outdoor and indoor cinemas, a game room with gaming theater, over-water Bali Day Beds and a 250 foot water slide that runs through the private villa in a see-thru tube, it’s no wonder why the world’s elite are gravitating to this hotspot for a private retreat.

Who slept here

Bachelorette contestants, Cassie Randolph, Demi Burnett and Tracy Shapoff, pro-football players from the Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers and numerous MTV’s The Challenge stars have all taken a huge liking to this posh retreat and its exclusive features. Even successful Instagram figures such as The Billionaires Club and Michael Louis have made it a second home because of it’s incredibly cozy yet tropical characteristics.

Centered in the marine park on the lush green Cozumel island in Mexico, the whopping 20,000 square foot estate includes multiple buildings, heated pools, movie theaters, stocked bars and a cast of over 40 butlers, bartenders, actors, acrobats, animal handlers  and musicians. Add to this picture, a 250 feet musical waterslide with light show from the roof and the spellbinding luxury mega-villa starts to feel more like a private theme park resort.

Location

The gated property sits on a remote road that’s great for walking and riding the included nine passenger survey cart to Paradise Beach.

Only a short drive away is a busy island town with world class restaurants. You can dine at ease knowing that your chartered transport awaits you to finish and is ready to bring you back to the villa where you can spend the remainder of the night at your very own martini bar or in the hot tub looking at the flickering stars.

With plenty of excursions available like private beach barbecues, ATV jungle tours, horseback riding trips, snorkeling, glass boat and yacht charters, it is truly a unique experience that will make lasting memories.

What it costs

Rates are increasing as word of this new hidden gem gets out but currently you can reserve the entire complex for a week with 22 people for just $21,000. This (weekly rate) compares to the daily rate at the other celebrity hot spots that often don’t hold half as many guests or offer all the stocked bars, entertainment and extras.

The Private Paradise unlimited food and beverage plan ($750 per person for the week) brings a great variety of exquisite cuisines and the finest handcrafted beverages made fresh daily by rotating specialty chefs and expert mixologists. According to bartender Ponchito (Chi-Chi) Tinal, graham cracker rimmed key-lime pie martinis, smoked old-fashions and top-shelf tequila shots are favorites among the stars.

MTV’s The Challenge contestants report that the $1,800 Entertainment Package is must-buy option and many have returned for a second visit to Private Paradise already – “It’s the best vacation I ever had” writes Tori Deal in her TripAdvisor review.

For about a $100 extra per person the Platinum Package adds spectacular shows, live bands, and photo sessions with exotic island animals. “You can’t buy that much daily fun with outside tours for anywhere close to that value” adds Cacciutti .
