Vehicle Struck and Killed 23-Month-Old Baby in Seven Oaks
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 5, 2023) – Wednesday evening, Presley Celedon was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Southworth Court. The fatal collision happened on April 12th, at around 6:20 p.m. in the 12400 block of Southworth Court in the neighborhood of Seven Oaks. At this time, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain unclear. Responding medical personnel transported the injured infant to Mercy Southwest Hospital. Unfortunately, the little girl succumbed to her injuries around 6:50 p.m. Later, the Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased infant as 23-month-old Presley Celedon. Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Bakersfield Officials are asking anyone with additional information about the deadly accident to contact local authorities immediately.No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Presley Celedon.
