President Donald Trump’s presidential reelection campaign is back on the road following the President’s hospitalization with COVID-19. According to emails obtained by The Weekly, President Trump is expected to visit Orange County, Calif., as early as this weekend.

Per the email, President Trump will be appearing in Orange County, in Newport Beach, Calif., for a private fundraiser for his presidential campaign on Sunday Oct. 18. The event, sponsored by a Trump Pence Victory, appears to be a rescheduling of the President’s scheduled appearance in Newport Beach on Oct. 6, which was originally reported by The Weekly.

While no public mentions have been made of the President’s upcoming Orange County appearance, the Weekly obtained a copy of a second invite for the private event in Orange County featuring president Trump.

Referencing the President’s Twitter page, Trump has been back out on the campaign trail, focusing particularly on battleground states like North Carolina, where he held a rally in Greenville N.C., on Thursday, Oct. 15.

In a Tweet Thursday, the President remarked, “THANK YOU NORTH CAROLINA!”

In the 2016 campaign, then-presidential candidate Trump did not have any major fundraising events in Orange County, typically one of the top fundraising stops for any national Republican figure. Donors then were squeamish about publicly supporting his presidential campaign that year and a majority of voters in Orange County, a historically Republican stronghold, voted for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee.

The President is also expected to appear in Arizona and Nevada over the weekend, according to the President’s schedule.
