Oh, come on, you know you've been awaiting the return of President Obama.

The east-west traffic. The Secret Service. The roar of the helicopters. L.A. loves us some Obama … when he's not here.

Oh well: Read 'em and weep, because the prez is returning to the L.A. area to tap some deep pockets:

The Wrap says that the president is coming Wednesday for campaign events that will include a stop in Corona del Mar in South Orange County.

While the publication notes that “the president has been heavily courting Hollywood — and its money,” we're not sure what's in O.C. for a man of blue.

That's bright red territory down there, though it does have more than its share of millionaires and billionaires.

Anyway, if this means that the POTUS will not be tying up Westside traffic again, we're all for it.

Don't count on it, though. When he's around, Obama seems to like to stay overnight in Beverly Hills.
