The announcement of the tour is building hopes of fans everywhere that the legendary rapper will release Tha Carter VI album.  Tunechi’s last album Tha Carter V was released in September 2018, so we are long overdue for the sixth installment. Lil Wayne previously announced that a Carter VI was on its way at his Aug. 2022 set at OVO Fest, his protege Drake’s Toronto festival. No word yet from the artist if a new album will be dropped before the start of the tour, but it would make sense that it would, right?
