The short tour will feature special guest Jimmie Vaughan, and launches on September 8 in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by Toronto, ON, St. Louis, MO, St. Paul, MN and wrapping in Denver, CO on September 16 — see below for all dates. Presale tickets for the Eric Clapton 2023 North American Tour are go on sale today, Wednesday, March 29 and we’ve been told the following presale codes and passwords may work. Details are subject to change, and vary by event date:

Sales for the general public should go on sale this Friday, March 24. Take note that details, dates and codes for the tour are subject to change.
What has Eric Clapton been up to?
The guitar legend has kept active throughout the pandemic, dropping Happy Xmas, his first holiday album and 21st in total, in 2022, as well as a number of single songs.
His band currently includes Nathan East on bass / vocals, Sonny Emory on drums, Doyle Bramhall on guitar / vocals, Chris Stainton on keyboards, Paul Carrack on organ / keyboards / vocals, Katie Kissoon and Sharon White on vocals.
Clapton has been an relentless critic of covid vaccination mandates and lockdowns. He released an anti- lockdown and mask mandate protest song with Van Morrison called “Stand and Deliver” and vowed to not perform at any venue that required vaccination, which he referred to as discrimination. He later released “This Has Gotta Stop,” another song protesting covid policies. Clapton has claimed that he had a severe reaction to the two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine that he received, leaving him worried he may not be able to play guitar again.
He turns 78 tomorrow, March 30, and we’re happy he seems to be going strong.
