Road Rage Incident on Long Beach Boulevard Kills Pregnant Woman

LONG BEACH, CA (August 9, 2021) An unidentified pregnant woman was killed along with her unborn child after an apparent road rage collision.

This tragic incident took place around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday. Officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and 52nd Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered three vehicles involved in the crash. Meanwhile, police found the pregnant woman in critical condition. Additionally, two other unidentified victims left with only minor injuries.

Unfortunately the woman, who was 8 months pregnant, died at the Emergency Room.

After an investigation, police uncover that the woman was a passenger in a GMC pickup truck. Since then officials stated that the driver of the pickup, 26-year-old Miguel Larios, lost control of the vehicle. Resulting in one death and two injuries. Eventually Larios was arrested under suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.
