California Watch this weekend takes a look at the burgeoning number of medical marijuana delivery services, which might or might not be legal.

The report looks at “a flourishing and unregulated industry of pot delivery services” that forgo the law-enforcement scrutiny of storefront dispensaries in order bring weed ” directly to people's homes,” according to a California Watch statement. So far, the delivery game is “unfettered,” too, the organization states.

Some of the services operate in cities and counties where dispensaries are banned, some will deliver pot to “drop-off points” such as Starbucks, and others use legitimate, prescription-drug couriers to deliver the weed, according the full report, which will go online Sunday, with some content available Saturday.
