Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are ready for some comfort food.

While the holidays may look a little different this year, that doesn’t mean you have to forgo celebrating. Whether you’re enjoying a meal for one, or want to ease your culinary burden by ordering in extra sides for your family, Postmates has everything you need to save Thanksgiving.

From whole meals to the perfect side dishes, Los Angeles restaurants offer a bevy of options to consider when ordering delivery this Thanksgiving. Here is a list of some of our favorites, available on Postmates:

The Carving Board

Don’t want to fuss, but still want that Thanksgiving flavor? Try the Turkey Dinner Sandwich (Thanksgiving in a sandwich)—oven-roasted turkey, stuffing, grilled onions, turkey gravy, and dried cranberries all overflowing on toasted sliced sourdough and served with an extra side of gravy.

House of Pies

Sometimes you just need something classic to anchor you. House of Pies’ Classic Roasted Turkey Dinner will help you celebrate Thanksgiving with a plate of hand-carved roasted turkey topped with warm giblet gravy, nestled in with mashed potatoes, tangy cranberry sauce, and seasonal veggies. Served with your choice of soup or salad and a choice of any two of our regular sides.

When ordering from House of Pies, a pie is a must. Complete your Thanksgiving with one of their tasty offerings, like the Southern Pecan—large toasted pecans blended into their signature pecan pie filling in a tender flaky crust.

Tender Greens

Tender Greens is a great option for larger portions and healthy options. We recommend the Family-Size Mac & Cheese and Fried Chicken Family Meal—ten pieces of fried free-range chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, coleslaw, and cheddar jalapeño cornbread muffins. Have little ones to cater for? Tender Greensoffer individual kids plates for even the pickiest eaters in your home.

Dulan’s on Crenshaw

If you’re missing a true soul food Thanksgiving, Dulan’s is ready to save the day. Their Candied Yams are to die for, as is their Macaroni & Cheese. If you’re not into turkey, give their Smothered Pork Chops or Veggie Plate with Yams and Greens a try. Each comes with three sides of your choice and cornbread.

Fred 62

Looking to deviate from the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but still enjoy the same comforting taste? Try Fred 62’s Turkey Melt with turkey, heirloom tomato, balsamic spread, bacon, Tillamook cheddar, and swiss on sourdough. Pair it with their Boss Mac n’ Cheese—broccoli, shrooms, sun-dried tomato, Oaxacan spice blend, cheddar, Jack, and parmesan cheese, herb breadcrumbs—and you’ll be in for one happy Thanksgiving feast.

Urth Caffe

Urth Caffe is the quintessential LA restaurant, offering you the perfect Thanksgiving dichotomy of healthy and indulgent. Pair their Herb-Roasted Turkey Breast Salad with their whole Pumpkin Pie (served with house-made whipped cream) and settle in for a cozy Thanksgiving at home.

Hotville Chicken

Another mouth-watering soul food option, Hotville Chicken will bring the heat to your Thanksgiving meal. Order a whole chicken (brined, floured, and fried in a secret blend of spices sure to tantalize your taste buds) and their Mac & Smokin’ Cheese—elbow pasta laden in a mix of herbs, good ol’ butter, four cheeses, and cream baked low and slow.

Sage Plant Based Bistro & Brewery Echo Park

Leaning plant-based this Thanksgiving? Sage Plant Based Bistro & Brewery Echo Park has got you covered. Grab their Bowl of Soul – roasted sweet potato, black beans, quinoa, grilled corn, sautéed kale, polenta cake, garlic aioli, and a gluten-free mac n’ cheese ball tossed in spicy buffalo sauce with spicy pickled jalapeño cabbage and a side of vegan gravy—and a side of gluten-free Baked Mac n Cheese for a Postmates Thanksgiving to remember.

Astro Family Restaurant

Astro Family Restaurant will be delivering a classic turkey dinner via Postmates this holiday, featuring freshly cooked breast of turkey, stuffing, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. Served with your choice of soup or salad. Don’t forget the pie à la mode.

Lemonade Restaurant

All about Thanksgiving sides? Us too. Lemonade is the perfect Postmates restaurant to order from. Our favorites this season include:

White Truffle Mac n’ Cheese with truffle oil and a blend of cheddar, parmesan, and gruyere cheeses.

Roasted Broccoli with ricotta cheese and champagne vinaigrette.

Honey Roasted Brussels with saba, chile oil and parmesan cheese.

Creamy Mashed Potatoes with russet potatoes, cream, and butter.

Harissa Roasted Cauliflower with red onions and parmesan breadcrumbs.

Don’t forget, some of these you can order to be delivered by the quart!

Cafe Gratitude – Larchmont

Another incredible plant-based option, Cafe Gratitude’s Thanksgiving special (aptly named Thankful) is a great alternative to meat this holiday—a bowl of shaved kale and radicchio with persimmon, pomegranate, fennel, shallot, maple walnuts, cashew mozzarella, and balsamic dijon dressing.

Grab some sides—Ecstatic / Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Comforted or Roasted Garnet Yams —and don’t forget that they offer family portions and whole pies, like their Harmonious or Peach Pie.
