“Good design has the responsibility of providing the technical and aesthetic integrity needed to enhance the human experience,” says interior designer Ron Meyers, who plays that philosophy out in glamour spots such as Atlas and the Conga Room, as well as in hospices and low-income housing (he's currently at work on the Normandie Village, a development for families with kids) that have won him numerous L.A. The Standard


After opening the Bar Marmont (with Sean MacPherson), a head-swiveling paradise for people-watchers, a few years back, hipresario hotelier Andre Balazs (Chateau Marmont, the Mercer in New York) continues to set the Standard, so to speak, on the Sunset Strip with his wavy wonder of a hotel.
