What do you do when you're an industry targeted for annihilation by a presidential candidate who is dropping out?

If you're the porn industry, and that candidate is the anti-gay, anti-smut Rick Santorum, you head on over to Porn Star Karaoke at Sardo's in Burbank and celebrate.

Right? Well, not so fast, our hung-over friends:

As if the industry needs more to worry about, what with free “porn tube” sites giving away the store and the specter of mandatory condom use looming, the titans of adult video are still worried about what the presidential election may bring.

Following Santorum's surrender yesterday, Adult Video News opines that the ticket of Republican frontrunner Mitt Romney's could be as much of a foe.

While admitting that “unless he is tapped for the ticket, Santorum's so-called war on porn is officially a dead issue,” AVN argues that …

… it is very possible … that at some point during one of the debates that take place during the general election, someone will ask a question about the candidates' positions on the enforcement of federal obscenity law. When that happens, you can place your bet now that Romney will borrow the Santorum position and claim that he, unlike Obama, will enforce the law. Whether he will or not is another matter.

Aw, come on, porn. You stress too much.

Kick back, take a load off, watch some video. It's all about Obama in November.
