Last Friday, leading adult industry news organization XBIZ held their annual awards at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE hotel. This awards show is the largest porn industry event in its home region of Greater Los Angeles (only Las Vegas' AVN is larger nationally and worldwide). The convenience means everyone who's everyone in local porn attends, from the “talent” (the hard-working porn actors and actresses who perform for a large portion of the porn product distributed around the world), to the filmmakers and distributors, to captains of the sex toy industry, to the digital experts in webhosting and complex credit card transactions who make this incredibly popular (and often unfairly maligned) branch of show business possible.
