He's been officially invited to co-host the porn industry's annual awards ceremony in Las Vegas. Way to bounce back like Charlie Sheen after losing a job at CBS.
Yeah, adult superstar Asa Akira extended her very own hand to the loser, saying:
We've all been following the campaign since Iowa and New Hampshire, and I can imagine how hard it's been for the people who've been living it every day. This will give our host the chance to kick back as an honored VIP guest and get some serious national television exposure as co-host of the awards.
The 30th AVN Awards happens Jan. 19 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. 2012's event has aired on Showtime.
Akira will co-host with Jesse Jane and, likely, if he accepts, Mitt Romney.

In a statement AVN officials said they wanted to give the loser a chance to “bounce back” with a stint on-stage at the Oscars of porn.
We're not sure how sincere the AVN folks are being since Romney is widely reviled in Porn Valley, where some believe he would bring back Bush-era obscenity prosecutions.

In any case, the best argument for accepting this prestigious invite came from Akira, who said:
If you don't host the AVN Awards, the terrorists have won.
Right?
