Barbie DavenporteTattoo enthusiasts' monthly bible, Inked Magazine, put together its sex issue and they devoted the main spread to all of the noble porn starlets who've worked long and hard (giggity) to move tattoos from alt-porn-only to everyday torrent trendy.
It's about time. I remember back in the day when a top studio would be more likely to sign a meth addict who couldn't speak English than a busty blond with a half sleeve. But times have changed and so have the tattoos. Tramp stamp? Sure. But a corresponding collar, backpiece or ribcage spread? Probably. And that's awesome.
Inked contacted some of the industry's starlets who've made the crossover from alt-porn — a genre coined and made popular by studios including Burning Angel, fun by Jersey-born inky queen Joanna Angel — to everyday nympho-next-door porn.
Here are a few highlights from the spread. Teagan Presley's my favorite — but I'll hang with Akira Raine, too. If you've seen any of Courtney Trouble's porn, you'll understand why.
