So you've always wanted to attend the L.A.-based porn industry's grand convention in Las Vegas, but were too afraid to ask? Perhaps you don't like hand sanitizer, sticky people, and tattoos (at least in-person)?

Well, AVN, the annual industry confab put together by the Chatsworth-based Adult Video News publications, is bringing the 2012 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo to your laptop.

Your wife will be happy to hear it.

That's right, AVN announced today that its Jan. 20-22 confab will be available for online peeping via its “AEE Virtual Ticket” and “VirtualCast.”

In other words, they found a new way to make money off of pervs.

It'll cost you $19.99 to “attend,” but it appears AVN has worked out nonstop coverage of the confab for the entire weekend. According to a statement:

The VirtualCast of theAEE will originate from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, host of the 2012 AVN AEE and will run from 1:00pm, Friday January 20 until 1:00am Sunday morning, January 21 [sic] following Winner's Circle coverage from the AVN Awards Show and the official awards show after-party. The VirtualCast will feature coverage from exhibit space throughout the hotel, a private penthouse studio, nightclubs hosting after-Expo parties and from The Joint, the 4,000 seat theatre inside the Hard Rock Hotel; location of both the AEE Main Stage during the Friday and Saturday Fan Show and the AVN Awards Show on Saturday night.

Bob Snyder of Virtual FanFests, which is producing the online endeavor, notes that you can be in your favorite, under-sized t-shirt, a la Comic Book Guy, and still enjoy the show. (And we know you will):

… With the accessibility our camera's will have, sitting privately by a computer watching hours of exclusive online content only, becomes an attractive way to take in the event.

That's a lot of action. And it's a lot cheaper than heading to Vegas on a red-eye and returning red-faced.
