The town of Derry, Maine has come to Hollywood for the The IT Experience Chapter Two on Hollywood and Vine. Fans of the Stephen King novel or the Warner Bros franchise can attend “The Derry Canal Days Festival and Funhouse” to really immerse themselves in the creepy world of Pennywise the Dancing Clown. The main attraction is a funhouse walk through similar to a Universal Halloween Horror Nights maze but a little more interactive. While there are plenty of actors hired to scare you at Horror Nights, the ones at the IT Experience will actually talk to you and put you in scenarios directly from the novel/film. It almost feels as if you’re being chased by Pennywise himself!

And if that’s too scary for you, visitors can also play some fun It-themed carnival games where they can win prizes. And don’t forget to buy some swag at the souvenir shop! The experience runs 2-11 p.m. through September 8th, just two days after the film releases in theaters. Tickets are free and can be reserved online, or fans can wait in a standby line if the advance tickets are sold out.
