Pop and punk went head-to-head at monthly J-pop/J-rock party Tune in Tokyo on Wednesday night with a special salute to the youth culture of Tokyo's Shibuya ward. Dubbed the “Pop-Punk/Pop Idol” party, guests were encouraged to dress in theme. Prizes from Little Tokyo shop Q-Pop and L.A. fashion company Camdenlock were awarded to the best dressed. The event was held partially to help support the Mighty Harajuku, a project launched by 6%Dokidoki designer Sebastian Masuda after Japan's devastating earthquake and tsunami. The club's resident DJs were joined by singer Stephanie Yanez and guitarist Po Lo, who performed live.
