Multi-Vehicle Crash on Sunset Boulevard after Police Chase

HOLLYWOOD, CA (September 9, 2021) On Tuesday, a multi-vehicle crash following a police pursuit resulted in the temporary closure of Sunset Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 2:30 AM when a stolen car slammed into two other vehicles near the intersection of Sunset and Van Ness Avenue.

Afterwards, one of the drivers of the second two vehicles fled on foot, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

In addition, video footage shows that several officers immediately drew their firearms on a person inside a black Dodge Challenger whose hands were up to surrender.

At this time, the total number of injuries and the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash remains unclear.

In the end, the Los Angeles Officials closed down a section of Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood to conduct an investigation.
