Hit-and-Run Collision on 26th Avenue Left One Motorcycle Officer Seriously Hurt

PHOENIX, AZ (January 10, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash on 26th Avenue left motorcycle officer injured Monday morning.

The crash took place at around 12:30 a.m. on the city’s west side, as per reports.

Paramedics immediately responded on the scene upon receiving the report about the crash.

Furthermore, according to a surveillance video from a neighboring restaurant, a black minivan traveling west abruptly turned left in front of the officer traveling east.

Eventually, the officer collided with the back passenger side of the vehicle. Furthermore, he was thrown off the motorbike onto the roadway.

The police officer sustained injuries following the crash.

Phoenix Police have yet to name the involved police officer.

Meanwhile, the collision is still under investigation.
