Traffic Crash on 37th Avenue Injured One Puyallup Police Officer

PUYALLUP, WA (October 5, 2021) A Puyallup police officer sustained injuries after responding to a traffic crash on 37th Avenue Tuesday.

According to authorities, an officer was responding to an injury collision when a  Ford pickup collided with a Puyallup Police Department vehicle as he drove at the intersection of 37th Avenue SE and Meridian Street.

Responding crews evaluated the officer and treated his injuries.

Authorities, at this time, did not released any information regarding the suspect driver.

An active investigation remains ongoing. Once available, more information will be released.
