Let us now add to our official list of dangerous jobs — taxi driver, armored-car guard, snarky blogger — one more: dude who delivers prescription drug supply to local chain pharmacy.

Who knew? On Thursday morning said guy was kidnapped and taken for a ride in his delivery vehicle before the 'nappers let him go and eventually ditched the truck.

The scary thing is the culprits were dressed as cops.

The kidnap-robbery was reported about 7:15 a.m. at a Sherman Oaks Rite-Aid in the 13000 block of Riverside Drive, police said.

One of the two fake cops took off in the truck with its driver while the other fled in a black Honda. Authorities said both suspects wore sweatshirts with the world “police” emblazoned on the back.

The driver was found safe 90 minutes later, LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph said. At 9:27 a.m. City News Service put out an alert indicating the truck itself had been found in Reseda.

The suspects, who we can only assume raided that rolling candy store, were at-large.

After this episode we're crossing “drug-store delivery guy” off our list of possible post-journalistic careers.
