L.A.'s most-iconic actress is about to get the spotlight again, 48 years after her death. Auction house Bonhams & Butterfields is teasing the world with rarely seen photos of the star that will go up for sale in Hollywood next month.

The Dec. 13 event aims to sell off the five photos as well as a handwritten note from Monroe, a receipt from the L.A. Department of Water and Power on her final birthday, and a mortgage document signed by Monroe and then-hubby Arthur Miller.

The photos (above) are described in a Bonhams' statement “as a group of five never before seen snapshots depicting the then-starlet performing on stage in an 'employee only' show at 20th Century Fox.”

They're valued at only $200 to $225 a piece.

Other shots up for auction will include “a beautiful black and white publicity photograph the star signed to a member of the Wardrobe Department at 20th Century Fox … ,” according to Bonhams.(Photo below):
