25-Year-Old Man Killed in Fatal Crash on Corona Freeway

CORONA, CA (June 25, 2021) – 25-year-old Phat Tran died Sunday morning following a two-vehicle collision on Corona Freeway.

The accident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 20. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.

According to reports, a car and a truck collided on the freeway under unknown circumstances.

As a result, Tran suffered serious injuries before rescuers rushed him to Orange County Global Medical Center in Santa Ana. There, he was pronounced dead about three hours later.

Authorities have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the crash or whether anyone else was injured at this time.

The California Highway Patrol Officers are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
