A phunny thing happened on the way to the phood truck. Phamish, a Vietnamese food truck, has gone missing, and there are few details on its disappearance. A few weeks ago, a note on the Phamish blog reported the theft, but gave no information regarding how or why it was stolen. Yesterday, the Phamish team offered nothing more than “it's a very long story,” and “it's such a sad story.”

Apparently, Phamish is in the midst of a legal battle with the truck thieves, and will not discuss the details of the crime until it's all settled. Until then, they're making bánh mì in a replacement truck (the pho won't return until they get a new, permanent truck). Maybe the Phamish truck made like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and phlew.
