Perla Medina dead after possible Hit-and-Run along the I-15

TEMECULA, CA (August 4, 2021) Perla Medina, 37, lost her life in a possible hit-and-run on I-15 in Temecula by an unidentified driver.

CHP Officers responded to an accident around 4:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, at the Rancho California Road overpass.

Upon arriving, police found the body of Perla Medina in the number one and two lanes.

Furthermore, witnesses claimed to see a pickup, possibly a Ford F-150, stopping at the center median near the scene. In addition, the pickup driver appeared to be emotionally distraught as he was seen standing outside the vehicle “jumping up and down frantically” before driving off.

Witnesses described the driver as an Hispanic male, age 35 to 45, between 5’7 and 5’9, with dark hair and wearing what appeared to be a gray T-shirt with the letters “USMC”.

At this time, the Temecula Officials are working to discover the factors surrounding the possible hit-and run.
