82-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Two-Car Accident on Corwin Road

APPLE VALLEY, CA (April 14, 2022) – Sunday, Percy James Moore died weeks after being hospitalized after a car crash on Rimrock Road.

According to police, deputies responded to the incident on March 21, around 5:25 p.m., at the intersection of Rimrock Road and Corwin Road.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area. Emergency personnel arrived and airlifted one elderly male to St. Mary’s, to a trauma center for further treatment of unspecified injuries.

Coroner officials said that 82-year-old Percy James Moore died as an inpatient at Loma Linda University Medical Center on April 3, at 2:30 p.m.

At this time, the Apple Valley Police department is still working to identify the circumstances surrounding the collision.
