All we ask is that you read “How to Not Get Hit by Cars” at bicyclesafe.com before you enjoy Bike Night at the Hammer. The idea is a simple one: Cars are bad; bikes are good. The museum folks — who, by the way, don't want you dead, either — have organized a bike-able evening with free bike valet parking by the L.A. County Bike Coalition, vegetarian snacks, live music by Telematique and a screening of the all-time best bicycle flick, Breaking Away (close second: The Triplets of Belleville).
