Event PickL.A.’s burlesque scene is alive and well. After COVID forced many performers to seek out alternative performance avenues online a couple years ago, bump and grind in the flesh is back. Besties and longtime L.A. stage faves Audrey Deluxe and Madeline Sinclaire have come together for a naughty new show called Peek-A-View boasting all the elements we love about burlesque– female bonding, retro-Betty Page-style strip, old fashioned glamor, comedic wit and womanly wiles. They call it “part cocktail party, part peepshow” with a Cocktail of the Month (this time it’s the “Tipsy & Teasy”) and a bodacious, thematic bill: DeLuxe is “The Blonde,” Sinclaire is “The Brunette,” Kitten de Ville is “The Icon,” The Poubelles are “The Twins,” Dee Cupcake is “The Ingenue,” Kiki Maroon is “The Stand-Up who Strips Down” and Bobbi DeCarlo is “The Lush.” Warm up and get down before the scorchingly sexy show with DJ Heidi Soul spinning 60’s grooves as go-go gals, drinking and dancing, and vendors kick off the soiree, which is also The Brunette’s birthday bash (roasty moments are promised). Dance party at 7 p.m., show at 9 p.m. Multiple seating options available ($25-$200). Peek-A-View at Hello Stranger,  320 E. 2nd St., Little Tokyo. https://www.eventbrite.com/
