Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Fatal Crash near 5th Street

VICTORVILLE, CA (August 16, 2022) – Friday morning, Pedro Alvarez was killed in a motorcycle collision on Bear Valley Road.

The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m., near 5th and 7th Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls on August 12th.

According to the reports, Alvarez was riding a white Suzuki GSX-R600L9, when he struck the rear passenger door of a Silver Fiat 500L making a left turn from Bear Valley Road.

The impact of the collision ejected Alvarez from his motorcycle onto the road. Emergency personnel arrived and transported Alvarez to Desert Valley Medical Center for further treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Due to the extent of his condition, medics later pronounced  30-year-old Alvarez dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the male Fiat driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Jessica Garcia, the wife of Pedro Alvarez, has set up a GoFundMe to support the cost of Alvarez’s funeral.
