Pedestrian Hit and Killed While Running Across Harbor Freeway

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 16, 2021) – Monday night, a pedestrian was struck and killed in a deadly crash on Harbor Freeway in Los Angeles.

The crash took place around 10:06 p.m., on Glen Anderson (105) freeway, as stated by the report. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a man who was driving a white Mercedes-Benz suddenly struck a pedestrian who was running across the freeway.

Following the collision, the driver immediately reported the incident to local authorities.

At 10:43 p.m., CHP issued a SigAlert, closing down all southbound Harbor Freeway lanes near the incident and redirecting traffic to Express Lanes and the eastbound Glenn Anderson Freeway.

Meanwhile, an investigation is still currently underway.
