Car Crash on Barham Drive Left One Woman Dead

NORTH COUNTY, CA (May 20, 2022) – Friday evening, a vehicle crash on Mission Road left one woman dead, police said.

A collision involving a pedestrian and an SUV occurred on Mission Road near Barham Drive around 8:20 p.m., according to initial reports.

The police and medical team responded to the incident and transported the female pedestrian to Palomar Hospital for further treatment.

Furthermore, due to the extent of her injuries, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Meanwhile, DUI and speeding were not suspected to be a factor in the incident, according to preliminary reports from the authorities.

Moreover, the identity of the woman has not been released by officials. An active investigation into the fatal  crash is currently underway.
