Shuttle Bus Accident on 1st Street Kills One Pedestrian

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 18, 2021) – Last Tuesday night, one pedestrian was struck and killed in a shuttle bus accident on 1st Street.

The collision was reported at 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of 1st Street and Ogden Avenue, according to a report from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.

According to LVMPD, investigators think a white Ford F550 shuttle bus was going north on 1st Street and began to turn left on Ogden when it struck a 70-year-old man crossing in the crosswalk on Ogden.

The pedestrian was transported to UMC with serious injuries, but unfortunately later succumbed to their injuries.

The bus driver remained at the site and showed no symptoms of intoxication, however an active investigation is ongoing.
