Multi-Vehicle Collision on Walker Avenue near Gage Avenue Leaves a Pedestrian Dead

BELL, CA (August 17, 2022) – Saturday night, a pedestrian was fatally struck in a multi-vehicle crash on Walker Avenue.

The incident happened on August 13th, just after 9:00 p.m., involving a pedestrian, a Dodge Charger, and four other vehicles.

According to Bell Police Department, the Dodge crashed into a moving sedan, three parked vehicles, and the pedestrian at the intersection of Walker Avenue and Gage Avenue. The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with fatal injuries.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced the pedestrian, a Hispanic man in his 50s, dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

At this time, police are still investigating the multi-vehicle crash on Walker Avenue. Authorities encourage those with more information to call Bell officials as soon as possible.
