Pedestrian Crash on Arrow Route Left One Fatality

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (January 10, 2022) – A pedestrian crash on Etiwanda Avenue claimed the life of one person Monday morning.

Deputies responded to the incident around 4:47 a.m. in the area of Etiwanda Avenue and Arrow Route.

Upon arrival, the first responders declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.

At this time, the identity of the victim remains unavailable pending notification of next of kin.

Later on, the investigators determined that a 55-year-old Fontana man 1999 Ford F-150 struck a pedestrian walking north on Etiwanda.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Rancho Cucamonga Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
