Just like a driver is expected to be responsible and abide by all traffic laws, pedestrians also have to behave reasonably and responsibly. If you are buzzed or drunk, it is better to request a paid ride home. You can also reach out to a friend or a family member to come and pick you up. Remember that walking drunk is never a substitute for driving drunk. By being responsible, you can help prevent accidents that can completely change a person’s life.
