Pedestrian Accident on Sutter Street Left One Hurt
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 18, 2022) – Authorities arrested a man after a motorcycle crash on Polk Street Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the crash happened around 1:35 a.m. in the area of Polk and Sutter streets.
Investigators said a rider in a 2015 black Honda CBR collided with another vehicle and then struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
Eventually, medical responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities put the 24-year-old rider into custody but his identity remains unavailable.
Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Furthermore an active investigation is currently ongoing.
