Pedestrian Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident near Clark Avenue

SANTA BARBARA, CA (July 30, 2021) – Friday morning on July 16, a pedestrian was sent to the hospital after a collision on Highway 101.

The crash happened just before 1:00 a.m., on Highway 101 south of Clark Avenue, as per the California Highway Patrol.

According to the CHP, a male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the northbound lanes of Highway 101. Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

Moreover, Lane #1 was temporarily closed, but has since reopened, according to the California Highway Patrol Road Accident Information page.

At this time, the collision on Highway 101 is still being investigated.
