Suspected DUI Crash in Pacific Beach Left 55-Year-Old Man Critically Injured

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 22, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries after a suspected DUI crash on Mission Boulevard on Sunday.

As per authorities, the incident occurred late evening of December 4th at 4300 block of Mission Boulevard near Pacific Beach community.

Furthermore, officers said the Jeep in the #1 lane struck a 55-year-old man walking eastbound near the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Thomas.

Additionally, first responders took him to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested the Jeep driver under suspicion of a felony DUI.

At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been disclosed to the public.
