Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision near Interstate 80

SPARKS, NV (October 29, 2021) – Early Friday morning, a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Battle Born Way.

According to authorities, the crash occurred underneath Interstate 80 just before 5:30 a.m., on October 22. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, a black vehicle with two doors struck a pedestrian who was pushing a shopping cart outside of a marked crosswalk. The driver then continued on Battle Born Way before turning east on Victorian Avenue.

At this time, there has been no update on the current condition of the pedestrian. In addition, authorities have not yet released their identity.

Police are still looking for the vehicle, with a damaged driver’s side. Meanwhile, the hit-and-run crash on Battle Born Way is under active investigation.
