One Critically Injured in Collision near Allegiant Stadium on Valley View Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (August 24, 2021) – Saturday evening, a pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision near Allegiant Stadium.

The incident took place around 4:48 p.m., at the intersection of Valley View Boulevard and Russel Road.

The events leading up to the collision are still unclear. However, officers say the driver of an SUV struck the pedestrian and fled the scene on foot.

Paramedics responded and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. Although, their current condition has not yet been updated.

For several hours, the area was closed off during cleanup and preliminary investigation. But, the road has since reopened.

Meanwhile, the collision near Allegiant Stadium is still under active investigation.
