Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Cave Creek and Cactus Road in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ (August 26, 2021) – Monday morning on August 23, a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.

The incident happened just before 4:00 a.m., near Cave Creek and Cactus Road, as per the report.

According to the Phoenix Police, a pedestrian was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when they were struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Moreover, Cactus Road was closed between Cave Creek Road and 24th Street throughout the morning commute. But, the road has since reopened to traffic.

Meanwhile, an active investigation to determine further details is still underway.
